| Information | Since moving on from early beginnings in the entertainment business (a glamorous word for running seedy clubs), I've been in various sectors of b2b media for longer than I care to say. As well as eight years in the Construction and Property sectors working on Construction News, Architects' Journal, New Civil Engineer, Interbuild, Civils and others, I've spent time in hospitals, nursing, pharmaceuticals, science and retail. A career in the media is fascinating for the insight it gives you into other people's marketing efforts, and is thus the ideal life for a nosy parker. I'm now Principal of Chart Lane, a marketing strategy consultancy specialising in construction and property, as well as a contributor and columnist for Constuction News, and B2B Marketing magazine. I've been involved in CIMCIG for many years now, five of them as part of the organising committee, and I remain passionately committed to helping shareholders and senior management everywhere understand the value that quality marketing can add to a business. | |
